About Jack

I started drawing when I was three or so, inspired by the illustrations in the Shel Silverstein books that were read to me, and by Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes cartoons. I stuck with pencil and paper and exaggerated comic character drawing for quite awhile before trying my hand at more realistic portraits, and experimenting with different mediums. Architecture is another passion for me, and has influenced more of my art as a student at the Art and Design High School in New York City. I hope to continue telling stories with my work, and trading my trusted pencils for paint more often.
